A lovely gal named Mary contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to know if I could design my "Princess Bride Wedding Necklace" for her in sterling silver rather than gold. Here's the necklace in Gold:
Of course, I was delighted and agreed. So below are all my essential ingredients to make the "Princess Bride Wedding Necklace". Unfortunately the silver daisy beads below were not the color I had hoped they would be so I left them out and opted for sterling silver faceted beads instead.
Here's the necklace nearly finished. I just need to wire wrap a few more pearls on the ends and create an adjustable extension chain.
I think I prefer the sterling silver faceted beads over the silver daisy beads...
And finally, our necklace is complete and ready to mail off to our bride just in time for her wedding!
Modeling the necklace for her so she can have a sneak preview before it gets wrapped up.
Congratulations Mary! Hope it's a beautiful wedding!
Carrie is No. 47 on my fan list from my Facebook page. I arrived at this number by using a widget called The True Random Number Generator. I typed 1 and then 67 (I have 67 fans). The number that was generated as you can see below is 47. (When I copied and pasted the results below, just the result, 47, was viewable.)

Lying in bed this morning, eyes still shut, out of nowhere an idea pops into my head: one BLACK ONYX STAR and one BLACK ONYX MOON. I knew instantly these objects were meant to be a pair of earrings for her.....earrings that I was going to design and create for someone special. Just finished them and mailed them off to her. There is nothing more satisfying for me than to design and create a piece of jewelry for someone I know and love. Hope she likes them.
My inspiration for this evening's dinner: "Polenta with Lemony Asparagus and Chick Peas"
Instead, Miss Sophie and I opted for "Broccolini with Quinoa"...below is Miss Sophie's dish (without the quinoa as she can't have grains).
And of course, Miss Sophie herself, patiently awaiting her dinner (no, she does not eat at the dinner table with me).
And my wonderful plate below...is it my imagination or does Sophie's plate look better?...
I stir fried the broccolini with garlic, olive oil and a little butter. The quinoa was steamed then I drizzled olive oil and ground some Pink Himalayan salt and pepper. Voila!...Delish..
